Computer Graphics International Conference (CGI) is the official conference of the Computer Graphics Society (CGS). One of the few truly international computer graphics organizations, CGI and CGS were started by Professor Kunii in the early 1980's as CG Tokyo. CGI conference is one of the top recognized international computer graphics conferences. Key research papers have been published in the proceedings of CGI, which are actually published as journal papers. Recent conferences have been held in Germany, Canada, Geneva, Hong Kong, USA, Crete, China, Brazil, to name a few.

This truly international conference will be the real place to present the latest original work and also exchange ideas. It will be held in the first time in Turkey, in the beautiful city of Istanbul. All topics of computer graphics can be proposed. (For list of topics, see https://cgi-conf.org )

35 BEST RANKED PAPERS WILL APPEAR IN THE HIGHLY RECOGNIZED JOURNAL "THE VISUAL COMPUTER" PUBLISHED BY SPRINGER AT THE SAME TIME OF THE CONFERENCE. SHORT PAPERS WILL BE PUBLISHED WITH AN ISB NUMBER IN LOCAL PROCEEDINGS PUBLISHED BY THE CONFERENCE.

Full Papers Notification of Acceptance: March 18, 2008

Short Paper Submission Deadline: April 15, 2008
Short paper Notification of Acceptance: May 1, 2008
Short paper Camera Ready papers: May 10, 2008


Short papers:

Accepted short papers will be presented in an interactive poster format at the conference. Prepare a four page paper using the conference paper template. Submissions will be peer-reviewed to ensure quality. Please use the CGI 2008 submission system and select "CGI 2008 Short Papers" track when submitting your paper.
